Flexibility Workshops with Theresa
$50 for One Workshop, or $90 for Both
FOAM ROLLING FOR FLEXIBILITY - 1:00pm to 2:30PM
Join this informative workshop and learn how to increase your flexibility with foam rolling and other self myofascial release techniques. We’ll start with a short discussion section covering the reasons and science behind myofascial release and why adding it to your daily or weekly fitness regimen will help increase your flexibility. Then we’ll roll on in to rolling our muscles. We’ll cover rolling the whole body with various instruments. Bring a notebook to record the ones you like.
ACTIVE FLEXIBILITY- 2:45PM to 4:15PM
In this workshop we'll focus on improve your flexibility with active flexibility techniques! Areas of focus will be: shoulders, hips, back, legs including ankles and wrists. We'll focus on drills to improve your front and straddle splits, shoulder and back flexibility and work on techniques for deeper squats including mobility drills for increasing ankle range of motion. Lastly we'll touch base on improving range of motion in the wrist.
Theresa Racicot is a Certified Personal Trainer, FMS level 2, TRX, and Aerial Coach. She has trained with many nationally acclaimed coaches in both aerial and strength and conditioning including Elsie Smith & Serenity Smith Forchion, Eric Cressey, Tony Gentilcore and Dave Tilley. Theresa brings her love of these two disciplines together to create informative and safe classes, workshops and small group/one-on-one trainings.
