Yoga is an ancient traditional practice of uniting, or "yoking" in Sanskrit, your physical practice with your mind through the breath. Yoga is a means of connecting your mind and body, and can often become a spiritual practice.
Through the use of breath, movement, and meditation, Yoga practitioners develop a deeper sense of well being and awareness for both mental and physical health. Props may be used in class to assist or deepen poses, known as "asana." The Sanskrit language, the language of Yoga, uses our studio's namesake, "Kama," meaning to find enjoyment in your movement and physical activity. Our studio offers yoga in both class and private settings, with professional instruction in Ashtanga Yoga, Power Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, and Aerial Yoga.
