In order for everyone to have a positive, fun experience,
Kama Fitness asks that you review these studio guidelines:
Full effort to make all classes – 6 hour notice required if you cannot make class!
Arrive 15 minutes before class
Doors are locked during class to ensure safety for personal belongings. Please arrive early.
Bring your own yoga mat
NO jewelry on aerial hammocks - this can be dangerous, and cause tears in fabric!
Late Cancel Fees - full price of class to packages and single class purchases 6 hours prior to class beginning.
Unlimited Members charged $15.
Be Aware of the Expiration Date on your Class Passes.
Only under extenuating circumstances will we extend class pass 60 days for a fee of $50.
Avoid eating a heavy meal 2 hours before working out; avoid acidic foods before aerial workouts
The shoes you walked in with must be removed at the entrance- Bare feet ONLY in the studio
Avoid baggy clothing
Keep hair securely held back from face
Aerial clothing must have no snaps, hooks, or zippers
Wear shirts that cover underarms and pants that cover to the knee to prevent silk burn
Come to class bathed and in clean clothing – please be considerate of
others who will be using the hammocks and mats after you.
Never come to class after smoking or drinking any substance that will affect your behavior or have a strong scent.
Do not mount apparatus (silks, hammocks, lyra, trapeze) before class has begun, An instructor should always be present, and a proper warm up should take place to avoid injury.
Do not teach moves to other students. This can be very dangerous, and lead to bad habits.
Open Studio is for students who have been taking aerial classes regularly; no formal instruction will be given.
Review class descriptions and guidelines - some classes require experience or instructor permission. When in doubt, please ask!
